What happened

Earlier today, a routine update caused a temporary issue that prevented the Assembly app from loading correctly. During this window, users may have seen a blank screen when trying to access the product.

Impact

  • All users were briefly unable to access the app
  • No data was lost or affected in any way
  • The issue was limited strictly to availability and visibility

Resolution

Our team quickly identified the update as the source of the issue and rolled back to a stable version. Full service was restored within about 25 minutes.

What we’re doing next

While the issue was resolved quickly, we’re taking steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again:

  • Adding automated checks to confirm the app loads correctly before updates go live
  • Introducing faster, automated rollback mechanisms to reduce recovery time even further
  • Strengthening validation around future frontend changes
